Yesterday was another proud day at Longton Rugby Club. After launching a girls junior section at the start of last season, we now run 2 sides and our numbers are growing.
Yesterday we took another step forward as 3 of our girls were nominated for County trials. Maddi, Mia and Izzy will attend the trials on 2nd February at Burton. All 3 are in year 8 and will be playing with girls a year older.
These girls are trailblazers as their attendance at the trials will pave the way for more Longton girls in future years.
Girls, no matter what happens we are tremendously proud of you. You deserve this opportunity and everyone at the club wishes you well.
