About Us

Longton Rugby have for many years been one of Staffordshire’s top placed senior rugby club, currently playing in Counties 1 Midlands West . The Club’s highlights include promotion to what would have been National Two for the 2003/4 season, and winning the Staffordshire Cup on seven occasions.

Longton Rugby relocated in 2008 to a new 20 acre site at Trentham Fields, near to the Bet365 Stadium, in Stoke-on-Trent, which comprises 2 senior pitches and 2 junior pitches as well as training areas and a football pitch. The main rugby pitch and the training areas are floodlit. In addition, we have a 60m x 40m floodlit, 3rd generation artificial turf pitch (ATP).

Facilities

Alongside our fantastic rugby facilities, Trentham Fields is complemented by our clubhouse which incorporates the Phoenix Suite – which was officially opened on 7th September 2008. The Phoenix suite is already being used extensively by local businesses for meetings and conferences, and by local people for parties, weddings and other functions.
