Age Grade Player Registration

Dear Parent / Guardian

Due to recent changes in data protection laws, all Longton RUFC mini and junior team members are required to register themselves and family members with the club and the Rugby Football Union (RFU).

We are all required to do this, even if you are already registered with Longton RUFC on the RFU Game Management System (GMS). This is critical to enable the RFU and our club to ensure that we are upholding all necessary safeguarding duties for every child in our club.

What is Player Registration?

Player Registration has been a requirement within RFU regulations for many years. All players are required to be registered with their playing club and / or schools in order to compete.

Longton RUFC can no longer carry out the registration process for you. The responsibility for this data is that of the player (or parent/guardian of an U18 member). However, we as a Club must monitor and approve our members registration on GMS and have to ensure that all players do it.

Please read and follow the step-by-step instructions below.

If you are new then please look at Section A, it will ensure you end up registering your children to play and not yourself!

If you are renewing a player registration please go to Section B,

You will see a link to a guide created by the club which should walk you through the process - Any issues please email Juniors
